Terms and refund policy.
Updated 12 October 2026. Please read these terms before using Imagefake or purchasing a subscription or credit pack.
The service
Imagefake provides automated AI / human image classification using IsItAI. Results can be wrong. They are not certificates of authenticity, authorship, identity or legal evidence, and should not be the sole basis for consequential decisions or accusations.
Your account and uploads
One free successful check is shared across all tools for a browser and any linked Google identities. No account is needed for the trial; purchases and subscription management require a Google account you control. Signing in does not grant an additional trial. Do not clear storage or create accounts to evade trial limits, automate excessive requests or resell direct access to our credentials. Only upload lawful images you are entitled to process; do not upload sensitive or confidential material. Review the separate provider processing described in Privacy before each submission.
Price and validity
The monthly subscription costs USD 2.99 and includes 20 successful checks for one calendar month after each successful payment. Unused subscription checks expire at the end of that period. The next date uses the same UTC day and time where possible, or the last day of a shorter month, and is shown in My checks. Automatic renewal is selected by default but requires your express authorization before payment. You may turn it off in My checks at any time; the paid period stays valid. A renewal payment already started when you turn it off may still complete, but subsequent renewals are stopped. If renewal capacity is unavailable or payment fails, we pause renewal without granting or charging a new month; you can restart through secure checkout. Confirmation records, receipts and cancellation instructions are delivered in My checks and can be saved.
What uses a check
While subscribed, you may separately buy ten permanent credits for USD 1.49. This is a one-time purchase, never an automatic top-up. These credits do not expire when your subscription ends or time passes, and remain usable without an active subscription while the service operates. We use valid subscription credits before permanent credits. Prices include applicable transaction taxes; bank conversion fees are outside our control. One completed classification uses one check, including a low-confidence or disputed prediction. A confirmed processing failure returns the reserved credit. If an upstream outcome is unknown, the credit is held while we recover the result and returned after about 30 minutes if no result is recovered. Deleting a completed report does not refund the check.
Reports and sharing
Images and reports expire 24 hours after submission. Export anything you want to keep. Shared links expose only the result and times, are accessible to anyone with the link, and can be revoked. We cannot retrieve copies others have saved.
Cancellation and refunds
You can request a full refund for a wholly unused purchase within 14 days of payment from its order page. Credits are locked while the refund is processed. For a partially used purchase, a service outage, duplicate charge, an incorrect order or other cancellation rights, contact support@imagefake.com with the order number. Mandatory consumer remedies remain available; these terms do not waive statutory withdrawal or service-quality rights. We do not treat the first check as an automatic waiver of those rights.
Service availability
Capacity and trial budgets are limited. We reserve capacity before taking payment, including automatic renewal payments. New sales and renewals may pause when capacity is unavailable; existing permanent credits are preserved. If we permanently discontinue the service, contact support to settle unused paid credits through an appropriate refund rather than an undisclosed expiry. If a service failure prevents use of purchased credits, contact support for an appropriate extension or refund. No particular response time, detection accuracy or uninterrupted availability is guaranteed.
Liability and applicable rights
Nothing excludes liability or consumer protections that cannot lawfully be excluded. English law applies where permitted, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections in their place of residence. Contact us first to resolve a concern.
Account removal
You may remove your account after settling active checks, purchases and unused credits, or contact support for assistance and data-rights requests. Minimal anti-abuse and legally required financial records can remain as described in Privacy.
